San Pedro del Pinatar, brings a series of unique qualities that make it a privileged place. It is located between the Mar menor and the Mediterranean Sea and has become a unique location for those who want to enjoy the practice of watersports.

Two marinas, one in the Mar Menor, and another in the Mediterranean, together with the different clubs and associations that organize numerous activities and competitions throughout the year.

No less interesting are the emotions that await you on the sea bed of the Costa Cálida, ideal for scuba diving and underwater caving. In addition, the Mediterranean holds the surprising of encounter with attractive sea floors and remains of sunken roman ships. Diving between old sunken ships, in marine reserves or posidonian meadows, is possible.

The Mar Menor is one of the privileged places of the spanish geograpy with more than 3000 hours of sunshine a year and mild temperaturas in winter, with an anual average of 18ºC that make this land the ideal destination for the enjoyment of active tourism even in winter as in summer. The salty lagoon with more than 170 km2, it has wide and not deep beaches, calm and warm waters, sheltered shores and quiet winds that make the Mar Menor the ideal place for the enjoyment of activities such as sailing, kitesurfing, canoeing or the motorboat.

In addition, hiking and sighting of migratory birds is another option offered by our environment, highly recommended for nature lovers. The Salinas and Arenales of San Pedro del Pinatar form the most important wetland in our region. In them, flocks of flamingos and other migratory birds, using this space as a stopover in their transit between Africa and Europe.
